Developed Colostrum Tablet for Dairy Giant
Pharmatech developed the first colostrum chewable tablet for this giant dairy company. It required substantial flavour development work to obtain a palatable tablet, and validation of the manufacturing process to ensure tablet hardness, friability and weight variation were optimized.
Developed 100% Natural Skin Care Cream
The challenge in natural skin care is obtaining suitable shelf life without chemical preservatives. Pharmatech has developed a number of 100% natural formulations for international clients. Some of these formulations have been successfully marketed since 2004.
Project Managed Tablet Film Coating Installation
Pharmatech project managed the installation of a tablet film coating installation for a supplements company. By using refurbished used equipment and tailoring to the customer’s requirements the installation cost was only 10% of the cost of a new film coater.
Implemented Space Saving with 5S
A small cosmetics company was bulging at the seams in its small warehouse based manufacturing facility and increasing demand looked like a move to larger premises was imminent. By implementing the 5S program of waste and space elimination the company was able to reduce floor area requirements, reduce inventory, eliminate waste, improve quality and delay the move to new premises.
